This packaging design for Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics focused on the brand's signature bath bomb: The Experimenter.
The concept comes from the inspiration from which the product was created. It goes back to the universe and its colors. The idea for making this bath bomb was that the water in the tub turns into a galaxy, providing an experience never seen before.
With all this in mind and taking into consideration the visual merchandising of the store, this proposal for packaging design was designed.

One of the most important core values for Lush is their Naked Packaging policy, in which they seek to minimize packaging as much as possible. That is why they offer gift boxes that are lined with satin handkerchiefs so that it is more than just a wrap.
For this reason, I decided to implement a packaging concept where the wrapping itself was also a product. That could be an added value for the consumer.
The packaging is a sponge that houses the bath bomb inside, making the product not only work for a bathtub but also for a shower. (This was an insight from my research. Many people loved lush bath bombs but they didn't buy them because they don't have a tub.)

In addition, the idea of the satin scarf as a gift wrapping option was maintained. With this in mind, I managed to eliminate the cardboard box.
